These words from Romans 12:1-2 make an excellent family exhortation: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Friend, all that we are is to be offered to the Lord in worship. All that shapes us should be what is acceptable to Him. May the minds in our homes be renewed by the Word, and may our lives be transformed by our God so that we will be able to discern what is good and what is His will for us.
