Hunter Beless is a wife, mama, and creator of the Journeywomen Podcast. Hunter believes God has called her to seek after those who are lost and guide them back to their Heavenly Father. She passionately exercises this God-given design through her roles as a wife, mama, podcast host, and writer. Though they stumble often, she and her husband Brooks, strive to display God’s covenant-keeping love through their marriage and oneness. They have two little girls, Hadley Grace (3) and Davy Kathryn (1) and currently reside in Fort Campbell, KY where Brooks serves in the US Army. Hunter, Brooks, Hadley, and Davy love journeying through life together for the glory of God.

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)
Our lives as Christians don’t occur in isolation from other believers – the Christian life is marked out because in Christ, we are included in the redeemed people of God. We are the ones our Savior Jesus Christ, gave himself for, “to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession.” (Titus 2:14 ESV)
And as Jesus’ people, our purpose, in any kind of pursuit or building of community, is to build up the people of God. We are a great-commission people, sent out to disciple the nations. As women, often we find these disciples we’re teaching, first grew inside of us, or were placed in our arms. Some of the disciples we serve are gathered around our tables, in our living rooms, or in our Bible study groups.
Wherever we are, we walk with the confidence that Jesus is with us always, even to the end of the age. His commands are clear and his heart for us is that, “Above all,” we would “keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
